In short: Audio in the dock holds uploads, sounds, music, voice and your brand's own.

Sound is the half of video that gets forgotten. Audio in the left-hand dock covers several different things and it is worth knowing which is which.

1

Upload

Anything you drop in yourself, for this video. MP3, WAV, AAC and M4A are accepted.

2

Sounds and Voice

Sounds are generated effects, described in words, for the small punctuation that makes motion feel deliberate. Voice is text to speech, covered properly in the voiceover tutorial.

3

Brand Sounds and Brand Voice

The shared versions of both. Anything licensed, recorded or settled on belongs here, because it is then available in every video rather than sitting in one.

4

Making one

In the editor, AI in the dock has Generate Sound Effect and Generate Music. Outside it, Brand DNA then Audio then Local Audio has a Generate button. Sound effects run one to twenty-two seconds. The two routes start at different lengths, so read the field rather than assuming. The panel in the editor opens at two seconds, the Brand DNA one at eight. Music has its own length picker, from thirty seconds to six minutes, or Auto to let the length follow the prompt.

5

Moving one into the brand library

A sound's three-dots menu has Move to brand, which is a move rather than a copy, so it leaves your own library and becomes available to everyone. The confirmation is worded as though it deletes something. It does not.

Accepted uploads are MP3, WAV, AAC and M4A. Volume is set per element, so balancing a music bed against a voiceover happens on the timeline.
