In short: Open AI in the dock, choose Generate Voiceover, then pick a voice and give it your script.
A voiceover changes what a video can carry. Copy on screen has to be short; a narrator can explain.
The voice picker sits inside the editor rather than in a separate tool, and it searches the full catalogue rather than a handful of presets.
Open AI in the dock, then Generate Voiceover
The AI tool sits at the top of the dock down the left edge of the editor, above the asset libraries. It holds Generate Image, Generate Video, Generate Sound Effect, Generate Voiceover and Generate Music.
Paste the script into Prompt
This is the narration itself, not a description of it. Write it as it should be read, punctuation included, because the punctuation is what sets the pauses.
Choose the voice
The Voice row opens the picker. Search runs across the whole catalogue rather than a shortlist, and the ones you favourite stay at the top, which matters once you have settled on a voice for your brand.
Set the speed, then Generate
Speed defaults to 1. Generating does not place the track by itself. The result appears under the panel, and clicking it is what inserts it at the playhead. From there it behaves like any other track and you can position it against the visuals.
Consistency is worth more than variety here. A brand that always sounds the same is more recognisable than one that picks a new voice each time. If nothing in the catalogue fits, there is a Request a voice option at the bottom of the picker that opens a chat with us.
