In short: Buy the Maia add-on, then Settings, Maia settings, Connect to Slack and pick your workspace.

Slack is where the work conversation already happens, so it makes sense for Maia to be there rather than waiting in a tab. She joins as her own app, appears in your sidebar under Apps, and is reachable like any other teammate.

Two things to know up front. Slack is one of the channels the Maia add-on turns on, so the section is switched off until the brand has it. And Slack connects one workspace per brand, so if you run several brands in Protaigé each connects to its own workspace, with no single workspace shared across all of them.

1

Connect your workspace

Go to Settings, open Maia settings and find the Slack section. Hit Connect to Slack and Slack's own authorisation screen appears, asking which workspace to add her to. Approve it and you land back here with a green Connected badge next to the workspace name. If the section is not there, the add-on card at the top of the page is what to deal with first.

2

Message her directly

DM Maia the way you would DM a colleague. She keeps context across the conversation, so you are not re-explaining yourself each time you come back, and work you start in a DM carries through to the rest of Protaigé.

3

Or mention her in a channel

Invite her into a channel and mention her like anyone else. She reads what has been said and replies in-thread rather than in the main channel, so you get her input where the team can see it without flooding the feed.

4

Disconnect whenever you want

Back in the Slack section, Disconnect removes her from the workspace. Connect to Slack brings her back at any time.

However you reach her, the toolkit is the same as anywhere else. Answers about your brand and numbers, live research, campaigns built and orchestrated, content, social posts, strategy and the small jobs in between. Her Home tab in Slack also gives you your recent work and quick actions, so you can start something without opening Protaigé at all. Slack messages draw on the same bundle as email and WhatsApp rather than having one of their own.
