Maia is your AI account director. The easiest way to understand her is to notice what she isn't. She isn't a dashboard you have to learn, and she isn't a tool that sits there waiting for you to come and use it. She's the colleague you hand the work to, and she gets on with it.

What an account director actually does

In a traditional agency, the account director is the person who owns your account. You tell them what you're trying to achieve, and they coordinate everything that makes it happen: the strategy, the creative, the channels, the chasing-up. Maia does that job. The difference is that she lives inside the tools you already use, and she works at the speed of software.

What you can hand her

Anything you'd reasonably pass to an account director, you can pass to Maia. In practice that means:

💬 Answers about your brand, your campaigns, and your numbers.

🔍 Live research - a web search, a look at what competitors are running, or a read on the social conversation.

🚀 Campaigns - she'll build and orchestrate them end to end.

Maia comes to you, on whichever channel you're already in.

📧 Email. She has her own address and handles her inbox the way any colleague would.

💬 Slack. DM her, or @mention her in a channel.

📱 WhatsApp. Message her, or let her message your clients.

📞 Voice. Callers reach her by phone and she picks up live.

🎥 Meetings. Paste her a link and she joins.

She's the same Maia on every one of them, with the same memory of your brand, your campaigns, and the work in flight.

Talking to her inside Protaigé

Inside the app, there are two ways to reach her, and they do slightly different jobs.

🏠 The Lobby greeting. When you land in the Lobby, Maia opens with what's relevant right now - what's just finished, what's worth doing next - and offers a few suggestions to act on. Think of it as the front desk: she's read the room before you've even sat down.

💬 The chat box. The button in the bottom corner opens Maia's chat from any page in the app, not just the Lobby. It's the same conversation wherever you are, so you can ask her something without losing your place.

An agency in the cloud

Think of Protaigé as an agency in the cloud, and Maia as the account director who runs it. You brief her the way you'd brief any good account lead, in plain language, and she turns that into campaigns, content, social posts, and the dozens of small jobs in between. You stay in charge of the decisions. She handles the doing.
