In short: Brief Maia the way you would brief an account director. You decide, she does.
Maia is your AI account director. The easiest way to understand her is to notice what she is not. She is not a dashboard you have to learn, and she is not something that sits waiting for you to come and use it. She is the colleague you hand the work to.
In an agency, the account director owns your account. You say what you are trying to achieve and they coordinate everything that makes it happen, from the strategy to the creative to the chasing up. Maia does that job, except she lives in the tools you already use and works at the speed of software.
Anything you would reasonably pass to an account director, you can pass to her. Answers about your brand and your numbers. Live research on competitors or the social conversation. Whole campaigns, built and orchestrated. Copy, images, video and voiceovers. Social posts drafted and scheduled. First cuts of strategy, and the thinking behind them. You stay in charge of the decisions, she handles the doing.
She comes to you, not the other way round
Maia has her own email address and handles her inbox like any colleague. In Slack you DM her or mention her in a channel. On WhatsApp you message her, or let her message your clients. She answers the phone. Paste her a meeting link and she joins. It is the same Maia everywhere, with the same memory of your brand and the work in flight.

The Lobby is where you start work
You land on a greeting by name and one question, what shall we make. Under it sits a prompt box already holding a suggestion drawn from your brand, a row of chips for jobs your products suggest, and a gallery of formats made for your brand. It is a starting line rather than a status report.

The chat box reaches her from anywhere
The button in the bottom corner opens Maia's chat from any page, not just the Lobby. It is the same conversation wherever you are, so you can ask her something without losing your place. Use the Lobby to start something, and the chat box to ask her anything else.

Think of Protaigé as an agency in the cloud and Maia as the account director who runs it. Everything else in this Academy is either something you can ask her to do, or something you can teach her so she does it better. Read this one first, then set her up on whichever channel you actually live in.
