In short: Buy the Maia add-on and she gets an address. Settings, then Maia settings, with a Copy button beside it.
Maia has her own email address, not just a chat window. It is contact details you can hand to clients, vendors and partners so they email her directly, the same as you would with anyone else on the team.
Email is one of the channels the Maia add-on turns on, and the address is created when you buy it rather than at signup. It follows a simple pattern, maia.yourbrand@protaige.online, and there is nothing to configure beyond that.
Find her address
Go to Settings and open Maia settings. The Email section holds her address, with a Copy button beside it. One thing worth knowing before you share it widely, the brand name in the address is locked in once provisioned, so check it reads the way you want.
Share it like any colleague's
Forward her emails, copy her into threads with clients or vendors, or give the address out as the main point of contact for a project. She handles her inbox the way a colleague would.
Decide who gets through
Her inbox is open by default, so anyone who has the address can email her and get a reply. Switch Unknown Sender Blocking on and she only answers your team members and your CRM contacts. A team member means someone listed on your Teams page, so add colleagues there first if you restrict it.
Turn it off without losing the address
Turn off email and she stops receiving and replying until you switch it back on. The address itself is reserved to your brand, so when you re-enable it you get exactly the same one back and nobody needs telling it changed.
The Unknown Sender Blocking card only appears when Maia's email is switched on. If you cannot see it, check her email is active first. Emails count against the same bundle as Slack and WhatsApp, and a reply counts as well as a send, so a long thread costs more than a one-off.
