In short: Open a design in the editor and hit ✨ Animate. Clear any embedded-media warning first.
A static layout already contains everything a short piece of motion needs: a headline, an image, a call to action, and an order to reveal them in. Animate reads the design and works out that sequence for you.
It is the fastest route from a finished still to something that moves, which matters because most feeds reward motion and most teams do not have an animator.
Open the design you want to move
Animate works from a finished layout, so do the design work first. What it animates is what is there.
Clear any embedded media first
Opening a campaign key visual as video can raise a dialog headed Replace embedded elements before saving. It means some elements still point at media baked into the original key visual rather than at a shareable file, and the project will not save until they are swapped. Each row names the element and what to do, and Show selects it on the canvas for you. Images, video and audio need replacing from the library or an upload. A font is the exception, because reselecting it from the font list is enough on its own.
Hit ✨ Animate
The panel opens with everything it needs already known from the scene.
Add instructions if you have a view
There is an optional instructions field. Leave it empty and it decides for itself; use it when you want a particular emphasis or pace.
Run it and review
It produces a timed animation from your layers. Because it is derived from the design rather than drawn over it, everything stays on brand.
If the result emphasises the wrong thing, the fix is usually in the design rather than the animation, since the sequence follows the visual hierarchy you built.
