In short: Add New Tactic, choose Email Outbound. It writes the whole email, part by part.
This is campaign copy, not Maia's mailbox. Maia's email is an address people write to and she answers. An email tactic is an email your campaign sends, written from the brief.
Confusing the two is easy and expensive, because one is a conversation and the other is a broadcast.
Add Email Outbound
Add New Tactic, then pick it from the list in the Create Content dialog. As with any tactic, it has to be switched on in the App Store first.
The email arrives in parts
Subject line, opening hook, body, call to action and a PS line, each its own field rather than one block of text. That is deliberate, because those are the parts you rewrite independently.
The subject line is the one to argue with
It is the only part most recipients will read. The tactic writes it to be factual rather than teasing, which is usually right for outbound, and it is the first thing worth changing if your audience expects otherwise.
Copy all content
Takes the whole email in one go, which is what you want when it is going into a sending tool rather than out of here. Each field also has its own pencil for editing in place and its own copy button, for when you only want the subject line.
Generate visuals
Produces imagery to go with the copy, drawn from the campaign rather than picked separately, so the email matches the rest of the set.
Publish is on the panel, and what it reaches depends on what is connected in Integrations. Read the strategic rationale at the bottom before you edit, since it names the persona the email was written for, and check the copy against anything your brief specifically ruled out.
