In short: Select text and the type controls appear in the left inspector.

Select text and the controls appear down the left inspector, grouped as Character, Fill, Stroke and Background, with spacing and sizing behind Advanced.

Your brand fonts are already there, so this is about using them well rather than choosing them.

1

Typeface, size and weight

Your Brand DNA fonts appear first. Bold and italic are toggles; the full weight range depends on what you licensed and uploaded.

2

Alignment

Left, right, centre and auto, which follows the script direction. There is no justify, which is deliberate rather than missing.

3

How the frame behaves

Text can size itself to the content, fix its height, or stay in a fixed frame. Fixed frames can also shrink the type automatically rather than overflowing.

4

Background, outline and shadow

Text can carry its own background with padding and rounded corners, an outline set inside, centred or outside, and a drop shadow. That combination is what makes copy legible over a busy photograph.

5

Text on a path

Type can follow an arch, a circle or a wave. Word wrap switches off while it is on. Setting the path back to None does not restore the frame you started with, so undo rather than switching it off if you want the original sizing back.

6

Lists and decoration differ by editor

Underline, strikethrough and bulleted or numbered lists are available in the video editor's text menu but not in the design editors. If you cannot find them, that is why.

Placeholders written as double braces are filled in automatically, and the insert menu lists the ones that exist rather than letting you invent new ones.
