In short: Change the style description first. It is the quickest and most direct.

When generated images come back consistently wrong, the instinct is to regenerate and hope. It is faster to change what is being asked for.

There are three levers, and they are worth trying in this order.

1

Edit the style description

The quickest fix. It is plain language and it reaches the image model directly, so writing shot on film, muted, natural light, no studio backdrops changes the next image immediately. Start here.

2

Change your references

If the description keeps drifting back to something you do not want, the references are the cause. Remove the ones pulling that way, add photos that show what you actually mean, then refresh the description.

3

Watch for a set that contradicts itself

Eight references covering eight different looks average out into something bland. A tight set of four that agree will outperform eight that argue.

4

Say what you do not want

A photograph can only show what your brand does. The description can also say what it avoids, and that is often the faster correction.

5

Then regenerate

Changes apply to the next image rather than retroactively, so anything already generated stays as it is.

If images are still wrong after all three, the problem is usually the brief rather than the style. A prompt asking for something your references never show will fight the style rather than follow it.
