In short: Select something on the canvas and the AI options appear with it.
The AI tools are attached to the canvas rather than hidden in a menu, so they act on whatever you have selected.
That is the useful bit: you are changing a specific element in a real layout, not generating something in isolation and pasting it in.

Rewrite or regenerate in place
Copy can be rewritten and imagery generated or replaced without leaving the design or losing the layout.
It follows your brand
Generation reads your Brand DNA, so what comes back is already using your colours, type and style references rather than something generic.
Because it works on a selection, it is best used for fixing one thing rather than remaking the whole layout.
