How Tokens Are Consumed
Your balance supports a wide range of AI operations. Tokens are consumed by:
- Photo AI Analysis: Intelligent image understanding and metadata tagging.
- AI Text Generation: Drafting your expanded campaign brief, concepts, copy, and tactics.
- AI Image Generation: Creating new visuals from scratch within the platform.
- AI Edits: Making text or image adjustments inside the visual editor.
- AutoPic Queries: Intelligent scanning of libraries to recommend the perfect visual match.
What’s Free?
Activities that improve your agents—like updating your Brand Story, Voice, or Personas—do not use tokens. Additionally, searches and requests run through Maya (our AI Concierge in The Lobby) are always free.

Protaigé provides tools to ensure you never run out of steam mid-campaign:
- Monitor Usage: Visit Settings > Usage to see real-time data on your resource consumption.
- Receive Warnings: The system sends notifications as you approach or reach your plan limits.
- Upgrade Anytime: If you hit your cap, you can upgrade your plan to unlock more creative firepower instantly.
