Before any campaign is written, designed, or launched — your brand needs a voice. The Brand Story section is where you define it.

This is where you upload your official guidelines and unpack the strategic messaging foundations that shape how your brand speaks, sounds, and shows up in-market. From your tagline and tone of voice to your values and key messages — every element here ensures that all future campaigns generated inside Protaigé don’t just sound like you… they are you.

Once set, these fields guide how your messaging is expressed across assets, so your campaigns always reflect your brand’s true character — no matter who’s building them.

Extracting Your Brand Story

A step-by-step guide

Go to the Brand Story section

From the Brand DNA dashboard, select Brand Story. This is where your company’s mission, values, voice, and tagline be stored.

Click the upload area

You’ll see an upload zone at the top of the Brand Story page. Click anywhere inside it to begin the import process.

Locate your brand guidelines PDF

Browse your computer to find the most recent version of your official brand guidelines. Make sure it’s saved as a PDF.

Upload the file for AI processing

Once selected, click Upload. Our AI will start analysing the document to extract key brand messaging elements like mission, voice, and values.

Check your inbox for confirmation

You’ll get an email as soon as the extraction is complete and your content is ready to review. This usually only takes a few minutes.

Refresh the Brand Story page

If the data hasn’t appeared yet, try refreshing the page to load the newly extracted content into the platform.

Review and refine each section

Open each section — mission, tagline, values, and voice — to check for accuracy. You can edit any field directly to ensure your brand is represented exactly how you want.

After saving, your brand story is ready. All campaigns you create from here will use this information to stay consistent with your guidelines.
